Installing a program
I am trying to install a program it comes in .tgz form. When I decompress the folder I get the following files: zDSBot3-2121, nconfig.txt, modtgtk.so, modinput.so, modinit.so, modconsole.so, modcommand.so, modbot.so. I was wondering how I run the program so that the windows from the program and such go on the screen.
Sorry for my noobness the answer is probably staring me in the face but any help is greatly appreciated. |
the programs that comes in .tgz format u usually install it by typing :
installpkg <packagename>.tgz as root whats the prgram's name ? |
tgz is usually a Slackware formatted package.. If you give us the name of the program, might be of more help.
