installed nvidia GLX and kernel successful.. but cant use the "enable hardware accel"

i installed nvidia GLX and kernel properly..
changed the XF86Config.
reboot..
still cant use the enable hardware acceleration..
what should i do now?

Which specific option are you trying to enable (there are lots mentioned in the NVidia readme)?

What kind of card do you have? Some options are only available for certain cards.

Or do you mean that you don't have any 3d acceleration at all?

Does the Nvidia logo come up when the GUI is loading? If so 3d is enabled.

Or you've got Option "NoLogo" "true" set in your XF86Config :)
