Installed new Hal library for g400

Mandriva 10.2

I not sure if it's going to work yet since I have not configured my XF86Config file yet. I researched at Matrox Forum about the Xorg 6.8.2 not being in the mgadriver-4.1.tar.zg file. There are different thing's said about being able to make it run in the mean time untill they update the driver to include the 8.6.2 release of Xorg. For now I am starting out my trouble shooting by installing just the Hal file from the 4.3.0 XFree86 file. I figure I have to configure all my video cards first before I will really know if the selection I pick will work. The monitor that I have up and running right now seems to be my default and is being powered by my MIL 1 card. I have 5 cards all together. I have 2 MIL 1 cards, a Mil 2, a MYS, and my g400.

My question is a simple one. Once I rebooted after installing the Hal file mga_hal_drv.o has a * at the end of the file and the file is lime green.

mga_hal_drv.o*

What does this mean?
