Installed Fedora 3, now CD and DVD won't work

I just got Fedora 3 installed and now my CD-ROM and DVD burner won't work. This is bad because I can't install the netgear driver from CD and can't connect to the internet until I do. Any ideas?

i had a similar problem when i installed FC3! go to a terminal and try:

mount /media/cdrom

and see what it says! i can't remember exactly what the problem was, but i'm pretty sure the icon on my desktop and some other things were pointing to the wrong place! I just had to show them where to go! Sorry can't help more, but i'm at someone elses computer right now!
