Installation software problem


I want to intsall a software (MEGANv2.04) using linux with Ubuntu operating system. There is a simple instruction given for the installation. I have followed but stucked. The following is my problem:

sentian@dell:~$ ls
CDAT Desktop Examples install_precis MEGAN PRECIS
sentian@dell:~$ cd MEGAN
sentian@dell:~/MEGAN$ ls

EFMAP_LAI_Jul.ncf EFpft20.zip MEGANv2.04.tar.gz WP20.zip
sentian@dell:~/MEGAN$ cd MEGANv2.04
sentian@dell:~/MEGAN/MEGANv2.04$ ls
bin doc Input setcase src work
sentian@dell:~/MEGAN/MEGANv2.04$ source ./setcase
bash: setenv: command not found
bash: setenv: command not found
bash: setenv: command not found
bash: setenv: command not found

Does anyone know what should I do?

The script your trying to run uses setenv command to set environment variables and it seems bash doesn't support that feature.

You could try to modify the script to use "export" instead of "setenv" or you could try to install the software with a shell that does support setenv ... I'm not sure but I think ksh uses setenv.
