See this howto on using Windows bootloader to load linux:
http://www.linuxsolved.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=125 Since the bootloader is already installed to the linux root partition, you can copy it from there to a file and use Windows to boot from this file. |
Hi,
With XP you can install grub in the MBR without any problem. Why ? Because grub is able to make dual boot alone.. so install grub in the MBR or make a boot floppy disk if you install grub on the first linux partition. The best and more pratice is the MBR. If you wish delete grub from MBR boot with dos bootable floppy like bootable floppy win98 and do : a:\fdisk /mbr That's all. Bye. |
