installation of Opensource Ingres R3 3.0.1 on RHEL3
 

Hello team i need steps to install Opensource Ingres R3 3.0.1 on RHEL3.

if any one having the same please share.

Do you have a particular reason why you want to install a database system that has been out of support since 2007 on a RHEL version that will be completely at the end of its life in 2014? Lot's of manuals and howtos can be found on the internet using a search engine like Google. Did you try that one?

Thanks for your prompt reply.

1st of all I have tried to search manual and solution of my query on the search engine like google, but did not get understandable document on it. 2nd there is requirement from very old customer to install the Ingres R3 3.0.1 on RHEL3. that's way I have to provide the exact solution now as per req.

if you provide me the steps or nice docs to me I will be very thank full on your help.
