installation of microsoft office in ubuntu..........


Hiiiiiii iam new to linux......i installed ultimate edition 3.0 in my PC. I would like to install office 2010 in it.is it possible??????

Hello and welcome to LinuxQuestions,

Yes you can use Microsoft Office on Linux but not without an emulator like Wine or CrossOver. But do you have any specific need to use MS? If not then you might consider one of the open source alternatives like LibreOffice which is available from your repositories.
