Installation of GNOME Desktop
Hello Friends.
I have installed Fedora 16 and i am using KDE desktop environment. it is working properly, But i want to install GNOME environment. I tried to do that by using the software management application to install Gnome.
I run the yum command as well. YUM install Gnome* . it get installed , But when i restart the system to change the environment from the session option in the login page, It says "failled to start."
I don't know whether i did the same in the good way.
If any one can help me to do so i will really appreciate it.
I don't know whether i will have to install the Fedora 16 once again.
Thanks and regards
Md Ahsan Reza

KDE and Gnome are ok and good to use. I would also suggest you to just checkout the cinnamon desktop environment also. It is quite good.
You can check this page to install cinnamon desktop environment.
Enjoy Fedora.
