Installation of Fedora 13

I have been using Linux for several years, starting from Fedora 3 to 8. Recently I have downloaded this Fedora 13 from the internet into this present desktop then I try to download it to another desktop. Initially the original CD just got stuck so I download another CD then after installing it to the desktop hard drive it just stop half way & stop function but after taking out the CD I found that it did managed to install into the hard drive. So next I try to installed it into the Compaq Presario M2000 Note book. It managed to boot up but when I try to install it into the hard drive, nothing happen. So I download another CD but the same thing happen, the icon show that processing take place for several minute then it stop. Try many times, the same thing happen. Hope to received guidance on this. Thank you.

It give you a few options :like testing you're install media ?
Did you use this option ?
It also gives the option to check you're memory
Did you use this option ?
Did it comes with error messages ?

Installing Linux Fedora 13

Thanks for you advice.
I follow your advice so go to memory test see result below:
Sempron 1791 MH2
L1 Cache 64K 13991MB/s
L2 Cache 128K 3497MB/s
Memory 383M 1093MB/s
Chipset AMD K8 IMC
SETTING: RAM 162 MHz(DDR325)
pASSED 7 error none

Then go to boot & check then go to test screen. So try again to Install to hard drive but same nothing nothing happen. Hopefully with the above result, you can understand why & teach me how to install. Thanks .

Memory 383M
that is the ram ???

you might want to bump it to 1 gig MIN.
512 meg is the recommended min. for a gui install

You can try the special spin off XFCE with is the light desktop .
Or go for a total light distro like Puppy

Thanks. I managed to get my Linux install but a bit of a problem as it always hang even though I have install up to 1.3 G of memory. There is also a few other items hopefully you can help. I have CCTV camera installed in my house so it can be open using window but can't be open by Linux even though I have install gstreamer(I can watch Video or Utube).
Another items is wireless. If I go to any star buck coffee, I can easily log into the Wifi as it is indicated on all available wifi around but if I used Linux then it will ask for the SSID or setting up a launcher(ask for command) or clicking on wireless create it will ask for the name of operator etc, since it is not possible to find out everywhere we went when we want to go internet so how do we create a similar capabilities like window.
