And that STILL
doesn't make it urgent for ANYONE here. Just because YOU need it in a hurry, doesn't mean that volunteers have to hurry up and help you.
What the document I have I am able to register client with the server but I can't see any system under the Target System. I want to do patching at my client machines so can I do this..??
There are total 70 server on which Centos 5.5 is Installed.I have to install spacewalk on 5.5 only I can't upgrade OS version.
Spacewalk isn't that hard to configure...if you read and followed the installation instructions from their website, you'd have it done already, especially if you've been working on it for a solid WEEK. Start fresh, and go through the guide, because it's likely that you've made an error somewhere. Since we can't see your configuration, we can assume this from the problem you've stated you have.
And again...you WILL NOT
have patches/updates for CentOS 5.5, EVER...it's old and out of date. You can register whatever you'd like, but you'll never get updates/patches...because there WILL NEVER BE ANYMORE PATCHES/UPDATES FOR CENTOS 5.5. Read and follow the installation instructions.
If you're really running 70 servers on CentOS 5.5, you have MUCH bigger issues to deal with. You have an environment that is LOADED with security issues, bugs, and other issues that have long since been dealt with. Not to mention the fact that installing new software will be a HUGE challenge, since you don't have updates for any of the libraries that new software will use.
