i am new to linux.i want to know,
any application in linux is install.
i am first time using linux and don't
from where to start,so plz help me out.

First of all, hello! Welcome to LQ. Where to start from? First of all, what is your distro? Do a search for package installation here, at LQ, and you will find a load of threads on this.(Geez, they never go sticky...) Then read some docs on your distro and if you are stuck, come here and feel free to ask! The purpose of this forum is to help people like you!
