Install unrar with Yum - Fedora Core 5

unrar is not a package. it's part of rar.

i think there are licensing concerns with fedora themselves, try a repo like freshrpms.

you have no idea how yum repos work, ehh? how do you suppose to install a file from a set of repos which don't contain it?

Oh! I misinterpreted! I thought you said distro! :P lol! How do I change repo?

on the freshrpms site there'll be an rpm which will add support for their repos directly into yum. livna and dag are also very useful repos for fedora.
