Install suse11 kernel
 
I just deleted the suse kernel-default by yast2 accidentally and rebooted the suse11 box,how will I install the kernel in suse11 rescue mode from the suse11 dvd ?

Try typing in "rpm -i <whatever kernel package name>". You can also do a find on the DVD, to find whatever packages are named kernel, and go from there.

No I am unable to access the dvd in rescue mode,thats the problem I am facing.

How, exactly, are you getting into "rescue mode", if you're not booting from DVD???

If you're booting from hard drive, mount the device manually. If not, then boot from DVD.

Yes I am booting from the DVD with rescue mode. I just

Uhh..if you were booted from DVD, you were obviously ALREADY accessing it.
