Install Rsyslog on slackware

I'm new in Slackware and in the company that i work have a slackware 9 server.
I'm auditing the structure with ELK and to send data to ELK need to install rsyslog.
My doubt is how can i install rsyslog in a slackware 9 server. Slackbuilds didn't work, maybe because of some compatibility problem.

Slackware 9 was released in march 2003 and has been EOL for almost 3 years.

You shouldn't expect anything even remotely recent to work on such an old system. You need to upgrade.

Yes, Slackware 9 is very dated and will have a great deal of problems. You should consider upgrading to 14.1 at least for official support.
