How do you install qt for kdevelop? I downloaded the source file and it tells me to go to .profile or .login and enter variables. Where is .profile or .login at? Thanks.

The .profile and .login files will be in you home directory. The . prefix on filenames means that they are hidden. To view hidden files you can use ls with the -a flag. If the files do not exist, you will have to create them.
