Install of amorok successfull but it doesn't put a link on the menu

I install amoroK and it appears to be successful. At least Add/Remove Programs says it's successful. But amoroK usually puts a link on the Kmenu. Now it doesn't. AmoroK is installed, at least it shows as installed on the installed programs list in Add/Remove Programs and in yumex but it doesn't show up on the Kmenu, under Multimedia, where it usually does. Does anybody know what's going on? I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling both with Add/Remove Programs and yumex but it doesn't do any good.

Thanks,

royeo

Hi, first, check that Amarok really installed without problems by opening a console and running "amarok". If it is, all you have to do is right-click on the Kmenu, select "edit menu" and add the Amarok entry yourself.

As to why it does that, I can't tell but I had the same problem once (reinstalled since).
