Install mysql qiery browser Ubuntu

Install mysql query browser. Pretty new to linux. I have Ubuntu 16.04 installed on two machines. One I purchased from Dell. The other I installed on a new hard drive. Mysql query browser is a no longer supported program that can still be used. I feel comfortable with it. Installed on the Ubuntu system on the separate hard drive and it seems to be working fine. I tried inbstalling it on the Dell with not so successful results. I tried using something called WINE on the Dell. The interface is tiny and so are the fonts. I'm not sure what I did on the separate hard drive but don't think I'm using WINE. It works on the Dell but is hard to see. Any ideas

I assume you referring to mysql workbench. Did you install the windows and not the linux version?

You could also try phpmyadmin which is pretty decent.

I'm not referring to mysql workbench. Don't really care for it. I tried it on Ubuntu 12.04 and found it confusing and awkward to use. The version on 16.04 is worse. Mysql query browser and mysql administer are part of mysql gui tools. It's simple and pretty straight foreward but is not supported anymore I also use phpmyadmin which is helpful in several ways. Both installations on the two machines seem the same. There are icons on the sidebar for the separate hard drive not on the Dell. Dell opens up as a tiny gui that I can barely read. when I make it a full page the information is extremely tiny. If I didn't already know what should be there I wouldn't be able to read it.
