Install Kernel Development package required for lan drivers on suse10.0

I have installed suselinux 10.0 on a Dell optiplex 755 pc. I have to install the lan drivers and unzipped the lan e1000-8.0.6.tar.gz and e1000e-0.4.1.12.tar.gz. After having tar the two files I go by command prompt to src file and give command make install. There I get messaged that - Install the appropriate kernel development package e.g. kernel-devel.

How can I install the kernel development package.

Please help

It is for building kernel modules

Do you mean openSUSE 10, or SuSE ENTERPRISE 10? You should be able to go into YAST->Software Management, and search for "kernel-source", and install it. Or, do a "cnf kernel-source".
