install g++ in Linux fedora 9


Hi

I need to install g++ in Linux Fedora 9. I tried this line in Terminal but no result. : yum install g++
this message will appear: No package g++ available

I will be grateful if someone can help me.

try issuing the following command.
Code:
yum list g++
that should list the version you need. The reason for it not installing might be because the packages it g++-4.1 or something to that effect. you may also want to try

Code:
yum search g++
this will search through package names, descriptions, summaries for the specified keyword.
