install g++
 
Hi All,
I'm trying to install g++ on my Ubuntu 9.10 \n \l device . I tried apt-get install build-essential
but i got the following error :

i also tried to install using apt-get install g++ command and it failed as well with the same error above.
any idea??? thanks in advance :)

Hi,

it looks like you need to update your /etc/apt/sources.list or at the very least run an "apt-get update".

BTW, I suspect that that version of Ubuntu is not supported any more. Have you considered upgrading?
