install centos 4 on hp ml370 g5 server


dear all
hi all , iam new in linux i try to install linux (centos 4) on hp prolaint ml370 g5 server with storage array SAS (p400).
i try all smartstart (7.4 - 8.10) hp say it support from linux 4,
but when i install the CD i found it just support for windows / netware OS.
i ask everone to help me.

you need to install the OS first. Then when you are done run the smart start there are .rpm and .tar packages that you can intstall. I had the same shock when i set up my 1st linux server...

but can't install OS bcz the linux (centos 4) not found the HD
