Inherited rights of a user included in a group.
 

When I include a uid (user) in a group, i.e. root, does that user inherit the rights of root and other rights that root has. I’m just using root as an example.

You receive the permissions of the group owner for the file or directory.

If you are the owner, and the owner permissions are more restrictive, the owner permissions will take precedence.
