I just purchased a Linux training DVD set from amazon.com and the instructor types info bash but what he's showing on screen is totally different that what I'M seeing when I type it. When I type info bash it looks just like the man pages. When he types it it looks totally different and has lines that begin with an Astrix (*), that when hit with the return key brows to that particular part of article. Mine has nothing like that.

I use Ubuntu.

does the top of the 'info bash' output look like:

File: bash.info, Node: Top, Next: Introduction, Prev: (dir), Up: (dir)

or something similar?
if not can you paste what it looks like?
