inetd and ftp configuration as ftp server "linux slackware"


help me with this error message "500 OOPS missing value in config file for: Make sure PORT transfer connections originate from port 20"

20 is normally the ftp port.
Check your firewall configuration to make sure you can initiate a connection on port 20
Also take a look at /etc/vsftp.conf (or the config file for whichever FTP app you're using) and make sure you have port 20 specified.
