Hi ,

I use RH. i read that from inted.conf I can disable started services.

I tried to look for this file but I didnt found it .... where is it on the system?

and what is the diffarence between inted and xinted ?

Modern Red Hats use xinetd, not inetd. The xinetd configuration directory is in /etc/xinetd.d -- each service has its own file in that directory.
