increasing my ex3 partition safely ??


is there ay way i can increase my ex3 partition, safely, without damaging the OS, ?? i need more space on it, and iv removed almos all stuf i dnt use on it ?????

You could take a look at parted:
http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/

NOTE: There is no 100% guarateed method and there is always a chance of problems. Make sure you backup your data first.

r their any tools in linux to do this ? im using winxp and redhat 9 ?? i wuna take freespace from windows and move 300mb to my ex3 partition

you can also use fips to shrink your fat partition. if it is ntfs it may not reliable
