When i boot slackware, it is always VESA framebuffer but i have a program that requires a 640x480x4BPP framebuffer.
The question is...How do i stop it from booting VESA.
okay, here's what you do.. First, download SLAX.. Put it on a CD / USB. Boot your system off of the SLAX live bootable device, CD or USB. then chroot to your harddrives mount location on SLAX, then edit your /etc/lilo.conf, selecting the 640x480x4BPP framebuffer, then run lilo -c as root
