In my auth.log file "apache2: gethostby*.getanswer: asked for ...". What's that ?

I found this line in my auth.log file :

Aug 24 18:10:09 xxxxxxxx apache2: gethostby*.getanswer: asked for "adserver.adtech.de IN AAAA", got type "SOA"

What does it mean ?

In short an AAAA record was requested (the IPv6 address of the host) but the authoritative name server for the domain returned a "Start of Authority" record (basically administrative details of a zone). This is a configuration error on the part of the DNS admin who's responsible for the authoritative name server.

Thanks
