in firefox intranet sites are not working


Frinds,

I have installed RHEL 5 in my Desktop.But i am facing problem during Access our intranet sites.Internet sites are working ok.I have configured proxy in my PC.Same thing (Intranet & internet) are working ok in ELINKS.i can also able to ping all my sites (intarnet) with host name.Through IP add also intranet sites are not working in firefox.

Plz help me to resolve this problem.

sounds like you need proxy exclusions or a better proxy depending on your architecture.

You have to specify "No proxy for:" in Firefox. I assume that you are not using proxy to connect to your intranet.

Hmm... I said that because generally proxy is only needed for internet and not for intranet...

firefox isn't going to be at fault here, you really need to describe your problem in better detail if you want help from us... what do the logs on the proxy say for example?
