Implement a Unix Shell with History Feature


hello folks ,

i built a simple shell using Unix System Programming ,Robbins& Robbins now i want history features in this shell how can i do this plz be descriptive with you answer Thanks in advance

Do you want it to be persistent between sessions or only last as long as the session? Build a structure for the data (man history to see an example) attach a function to store the data in the structure, make a function to display the store of data.

Also, remember that because this is Linux, you automatically get access to the src code, so you could have a read of that.
