.img writing on Xandros?
I'm more or less a complete xandros newbie, and I recently took delivery of an EEE pc with it installed. I have since decided that I'd like to install the netbook remix of ubuntu on my netbook, because xandros is just too simplistic for me.
Anyhow, I downloaded the .img file from ubuntu, and everything was good. However, I don't know how to make xandros write it onto a pen drive ｔｈａｔ ｉ ｃａｎ ｂｏｏｔ ｆｒｏｍ， ａｎｄ ｔｈｉｓ ｉｓ ｗｈｅｒｅ ｉ ａｍ ｓｔｕｃｋ． Ｉ tried usb-imagewriter from Ubuntu as xandros is based on debian, but I couldn't seem to make it install, and attempting to run it from the command line resulted in nothing.
I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone can give me on this, I just need to make the file bootable, Im okay from there on.
