Image/Clone Ubuntu Box
 
How do I image my Ubuntu 7.10 computer so I have the option of opening the image and restoring some files AND down the road image it back to a drive?

Partimage will do the cloning but I do not know whether it is possible to extract individual files from the image. Mondo should be capable of doing that, though. Both are available from the repositories, by the way.
