I just downloaded the newest version of Ubuntu onto a USB drive. I put it into my computer and when it was loading Ubuntu, it said "COuld not find kernal image:vesamenu.c32". Why is this happening and how do I fix it?
There are tools to burn image to usb.
Even though wins7 has imaging software you decide how you want to use usb, either to boot and install to existing hdd or use usb as an os. But you have to research your options.
I think wins7 imaging does both, but not sure.
You have to let someone know what kind of problems you're experiencing(error messages)
What make and model
Are you trying to install from usb or run from.
Did you set bios to boot usb?
Most of the people who can help you need a little more info.
Error message: "COuld not find kernal image:vesamenu.c32"
Model: I'm guessing you mean my computer and my specs? I have the H55V EVGA, i3 dual core intel, 4GB of Ram. Need the rest, I'll give more.
I want to install linux from my USB.
No, but I'll try booting from BIOS.
