Image?
I just downloaded the newest version of Ubuntu onto a USB drive. I put it into my computer and when it was loading Ubuntu, it said "COuld not find kernal image:vesamenu.c32". Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

There are tools to burn image to usb.
Even though wins7 has imaging software you decide how you want to use usb, either to boot and install to existing hdd or use usb as an os. But you have to research your options. I think wins7 imaging does both, but not sure. |
I already used a software to burn it to the USB. That's why I don't know why it's not working. What do I do to solve this problem?

A software to burn it to the USB? Write which software? And use UNetbootin to make bootable USB flash drive.

I went to the official ubuntu website and used the software they told me to use. Any solutions?

You have to let someone know what kind of problems you're experiencing(error messages)
What make and model Are you trying to install from usb or run from. Did you set bios to boot usb? Most of the people who can help you need a little more info. |
Error message: "COuld not find kernal image:vesamenu.c32"
Model: I'm guessing you mean my computer and my specs? I have the H55V EVGA, i3 dual core intel, 4GB of Ram. Need the rest, I'll give more. I want to install linux from my USB. No, but I'll try booting from BIOS. |
Do you have cdrom?
If so burn iso to cd. But you have to set bios to boot from whichever device you're using to install os. |
I can buy a CD, so I'll try that.
And I'll set the BIOS and see what happens. Thanks |
