iMac PPC; Which Distro?

Okay, so i've been talking to my friends who know linux, and swear by it. They say go with either SUSE, or Debian. I've chosen SUSE for the easier install. I've fonud more than enough mirrors near my location, but here's my question and concern.

Whenever I see PPC download options. It always lists G3, G4, G5 ibooks, etc....obviously my iMac doesn't have a G3 processer. So what SUSE distro version should I be looking for? I have seen a couple options (don't remember where though) for SUSE downloads for 601-603 under PPC. But I'm still really confused on which one to download. A quick response is greatly appreciated! Thanks for a great site!

iMacs have G3, G4, or G5 processors (if it doesn't say, it's probably G3). Also, iMacs are New World, so basically every distro that supports PPC will work. Most major distros support it, including Yellow Dog, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora Core, Mandriva, SuSE, Gentoo, and others.

Great! Thanks for your help. I wasn't sure. My friend said they don't have G3's. He thought it was a 601 or something along those lines. But that helped great, I was planning on using SuSE 10.0. Thanks again!
