im gonne install the slackware now i have a little question


hi i have problem with the boot so i chose to install from the begining the slackware
now my question is
i have 40 gb hardisk
i need to do # cfdisk
and make the things right on thair
so what to do
how much partition i need to do thair and what partitin linux swap or linux or ... and on what i need to write partition table on what no and else ...
thanks a lot about your time again ... roy

1 gb = linux swap here im not write table partition

39 gb = linux i write here table partition

break it into chunks ... say have 25GB for / and 15GB /home so all ur personal stuff are intact even if your system flunks ur stuff is safe...

its ok ..

in few days i get a new hard disk so the /home
will not be
all my things im goone save in hdb
hdb = my new hardisk

now whan i installed
what should i tell him whan i get to the boot settings come to here to know my problem
