Im a newbie and i want to know what kind of linux its better for me!
 
I have a compaq presario 7594 and haves a intel celeron processor. I want to know what kind of linuxcan i put. Because i intented with the mandrake 10.0 and 10.2 and doesnt really works the installer.

And whats the most common linux or better or the most preferedlinux?

Otherwise, what do you mean by "doesn't really work the installer"?
It could just be a bad ISO burn. Did you check the MD5 SUM? Did you burn the disk at a slow speed?

you need to helps us to help you :-
by posting exactly what any error messages are saying
by telling us where you got the Mandrake CDs from
if you burnt them yourself
and any other info you can give us

There is not better or preferred Linux Distro, your only going to get opinions and most people will only recommend what they use.

Personally, I'd say, if Mandrake didn't work quite like you wanted or expected, try another, then another, til you feel the one you install seems to suit you and only you, as that will be the best answer you'll recieve with a question that you asked.
