ifort: error #10001: could not find directory in which g++ resid

I was using ifort to compile my programs for a long time, but today it
returns the error message:

""ifort: error #10001: could not find directory in which g++ resides""

How do I fix this problem?
Besides it again today started receiving this message when trying to open *.eps files:
""....inter-process communications for KDE.the message....:could not read network connection list. ....
Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running.
""
Please help me in a step by step instruction.( newbie !)
