Idle Timer

I have just recently installed a web server. Its seems to be working fine except when that no activity (keyboard/mouse). The screen goes blank due to no activity. When this happends outsiders cannot access the website. When I press a key on the key board everything comes back and users can access the site.

How can I turn off or adjust the idle timer? If theirs a command to change it? I'm running Mandrake Linux

it's a program started at boot time. i use slack so it is in my start up script (which is different from your ones so they are not directly comparable).

look for a line in one of your scripts which looks like

Code:
/bin/setterm -blank 15
the 15 is the number of minutes before it blanks out.
