( ide: failed opcode) burning fails / some expert ?

When I am burning cdroms, the burning fails and I get in my tty1 all time, repeatidly :
  ide: failed opcode was: unknown ... hda: task_in_intr: status=0x58 {DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest Error}
the burning with gnomebaker says:
/dev/hdh: "Current Write Speed" is 3.3x1352KBps.
:-( unable to WRITE@LBA=2f40h: Input/output error
:-( write failed: Input/output error
/dev/hdh: flushing cache
/dev/hdh: updating RMA
/dev/hdh: closing session
I have a JMICRON

Can an expert with linux help me ?

The jmicron part shouldn't play a role: I have a P5B myself and it's working fine. Are you sure that your optical drives are properly connected: one as slave, the other as master - or both on cable select?

And which distribution are we talking about? Which brand of optical drive? Which disks?
