I Want to leave Windows,Wireless USB NIC Help

I want to leave the windows world and the best way for me is to have the internet on my linux box. That way I can browse the interent and find out answeres to future questions.

That being said I need help using/installing my wireless usb NIC.

I have Dsl Linux (Damnsmall, not the latest version, but previous) installed on my harddrive.

I have a TwinMos Wireless USB Stick (B240) which can be found at (along w/drivers):
twinmos.com/wlan_download.htm

The user manual is here
twinmos.com/wlan/download/um_b240_b245_b241.doc

I tried to follow the user manual however when i do a Configure
the defualt Linux Source Directory is
/usr/src/linux-2.4

However that does not exist on my system
I'm not even seeing a /usr/src

Please help on what I should do next.
Thank you.
