This looks like a marvelous article here:

Here are Oracle's own forums:

The page linked here claims that you can install O9i into RHEL of whatever version, but that RHEL5 is not supported for production systems. You'll have to read the pages yourself to figure out what that means.
I found those pages by going here (I just searched for "installing oracle 9i"):

Now, I've never heard of "LINUX 5" but I took a guess that you are referring to RHEL5. If not, please clarify.
Nobody will often provide step by step instructions for any procedure, when the following are true:
-- there is ample documentation available for you to read.
-- and when they are volunteering to help you solve problems (not do the job for you)
-- when you write your posts in
BOLD AND CAPS (because that's rather rude)
-- when you have asked in numerous other threads for "STEP BY STEP" instructions for many things, despite claims that you hold an RHCE certificate.
-- you have not given any evidence that you have put any effort at all into helping yourself, before asking for help.
Kindly investigate for yourself, whether or not you CAN install this Oracle into whatever Linux OS you plan on installing it into. If it is possible, proceed to do it. If you run into trouble, provide us with details about what you have done so far, and what is not working, and perhaps someone can help out.
