I want to install php5-sqlite3 on Ubuntu

I want to install php5-sqlite3 on Ubuntu

This package does not seem to be available in the ubuntu repository. I have been searching for about 1 hour and am annoyed now.

Does anyone know how to get it?

Ubuntu have this package listed in the 'Universe' (for Hardy at least):
http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/php5-sqlite3

Have you checked what repositories you're searching?

I am using the default repositories, have not changed them. Even when I run synaptic I get the same problem...the package simply is not there.
