Okay, please download the patch for the game here, and unzip it with whatever program gnome uses to unzip things (file-roller, I believe). You should just have to double click on the file and press extract.

Then run the patch executable that came out of there with wine. (ex: "wine patch.exe")

I read on the wine page for your game that it will only work if your game version is 1.06, or else it will not work at all.

Bingo! Funny though, didn't patch it before and it worked just fine but whatever...works now!

Thanks for your help! Without you I'd be laying right next to my cat staring into that mouse hole right now!

Gotta go kill stuff now....Thanks again!!

And I concur with zuzoa...thanks for your service.

And on a game related note...check out Cedaga's Point2play stuff here http://www.cedega.com/ . Got to pay a few $ for it, but it's worth it, in my opinion. Great support for a lot of games, and easy to set up...
