I need suggestions "linux options to exchange server".
 

Hi everyone.

I am new to this linux forum. Although that have been searching here and havnt found the exakt answer on my question, I´d rather post my one.

Q: Can you fellows give me suggestions to one or a couple of server-applications that suits for my needs, cause I havnt tried a single one of those, pherhaps you have some experinces of a couple of those.

My needs, sort of Exchange functions: my wishes are arranged in number postions... 1=most wanted, 10=less wanted.
1. That is is free, no cost.
2. That it uses Push, just like Gmail, MS exchange etc.
3. I´d like to have something that can do the push for Calendar purpose. The best would be if I could add/change/delete calendar posts at my phone (iphone) and could change the calendar in my work computer in Outlook aswell
4. I´d like to have a webinterface (for as many of my wishes as well)
5. I´d like to have Contacts opertunity, by web and by phone.
6. I´d like to have Todo and reminders.
7. I´d like to have Cloud-file storage at my server, like dropbox.
8. I´d like to have mail, by web, and in my phone.

It is going to be run at my Debian server.

The main purpose is that I would like to have control over my information and that I can use the calender functions with outlook to change, aswell in the phone, and in i webbinterface. So that my wife and I can use a calendar that I update in outlook.

I have just tried ownCloud, but it does not function well (or att all) in outlook, but has a great cloud storage function.

Zimbra is pretty comprehensive & does have a free version https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Top_10_FAQ.
Don't know if it does everything you want, but worth a look.

Thank you for your suggestion, I´ll be looking closer to it sone. We have a 3 weeks baby here at home (We recently got our second child :P), so I dont have mutch time over to do some deep investigations.
