I need some really really basic help.
I want to put Linux on a seperate hard drive on my Athlon W2K machine.
I got this advice from Ace's Hardware Forum: Or just download the Redhat ISOs, burn 'em to CD-R, set your BIOS to boot from CD, and go. Linux should detect your existing Windows system, and install a bootloader to allow you to select between Windows or Linux when you boot. Unfortunately I don't know which to download burn and install: shrike-SRPMS-disc1.iso 13-Mar-2003 22:39 608M shrike-SRPMS-disc2.iso 13-Mar-2003 22:43 645M shrike-SRPMS-disc3.iso 13-Mar-2003 22:46 425M shrike-i386-disc1.iso 13-Mar-2003 22:26 638M shrike-i386-disc2.iso 13-Mar-2003 22:30 646M shrike-i386-disc3.iso 13-Mar-2003 22:35 485M |

the other's (srpm) are source code, which is nice if you're into programming, but otherwise unneeded.

You'll need these three, the first one alone isn't enough (RH9'S install demands all of them):

One would think that a short note on the site page would be prudent?
