I need major help with a script

Date logging script
Create a script that
1. checks for the existence of a filename in your Documents folder corresponding to a filename entered on the command line.
2. if the file exists, then print to the screen a statement indicating the file is ok and the script is writing to the file
3. if the file does not exist, then print to the screen a statement to that affect and that the script is creating the file. Then print a message that the script is writing to the file
4. Use the "more" command to display the contents of the file.

Ok...what do you need help with? Post what you've done, and what errors you're getting, and we'll help.

But we're not doing your homework for you.

Ditto--if you want help with homework, you cannot just cut and paste from the assignment sheet. AND---YOU DIDN'T EVEN SAY PLEASE!!!

Since this was just opened a few minutes ago, you have the opportunity to respond before it gets closed.

And closed. Should you run into problems with the actual
code feel free to come back and ask questions ...

Cheers,
