I need ls -la /dev for a RHEL
For i mistake in all files of /dev changed the group and owner. I have a Red Hat Enterprise, please someone would email me ls -la /dev. My email is rhelserver@gmail.com
Thanks in advance. |
you will be running devfsd and as such your dev directory is virtual and built on boot... just reboot or restart devfsd and they'll be recreated.
At least i very very much assume you are using it.. check the output of "ps ax" for devfsd first... |
I'm sorry but i donn't know how to do it. If you email this fiel i change the owner and group of my files.
Thanks in advance. |
no, that will never work... jsut follow the instructions. it's insanely simple compared to tiresomly renaming ALL the files... run "ps ax" look for devfsd, if it's there.. reboot. simple.

I make "ps aux" and devfsd isn't it. What can i do?
Tnaks in advance |
