Exclamation I Need Help With Suse!!!!


hey, this is probably somewhere on the site. I am too lazy to look for it.

I wanted to know how in the world do I install LimeWire on SuSE (the new version)

it is a bin file

Hey there susenwb. What you need to install Limewire is to open up the command line and as root, go to the directory you have the file place in and type (minus the quotes) "sh ./limewirelinux.bin", assuming that is the filename. If you come up with any errors, most likely you need to install the java runtime environment which can be downloaded at http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/download.html and be sure to select the "JRE" version rather than the "SDK" version.
